A rinse is all it needs.
Tip and rinse
Empty the pouch, rinse under the tap. Most days that is the whole job.
Soap only when it is oily
Veg rinses straight off. After meat, a drop of dish soap.
Skip the dishwasher
It can take the top rack, but hand rinsing keeps it like new for longer. Not a trivet: keep hot pans off it.
