Half the board is skins before the garlic is done.
It is not the cooking anyone minds. It is what the counter looks like at the end of it, when you still have to clear up before you can sit down.
You end up chopping in whatever corner is left.
Same garlic. The skins went over the edge into the pouch.
Three moves. Zero mess.
Setup takes a few seconds. Cleanup takes less.
Place and prep
Unroll ROO on the counter with the pouch over the edge. It grips instantly and holds your cutting board steady while you work.
Slice, dice and collect
Sweep scraps straight off the board into the pouch as you go. It holds up to 7 cups, a full meal's prep without stopping.
Dump, rinse and roll away
Empty the pouch in one trip, rinse it or use the dishwasher's top shelf, then roll it into its bag and back in the drawer.
One mat, one board, or both.
It doesn't go back in the drawer.
Set it up once, and it becomes a habit.
Something I didn't know I needed
“It's now a habit to set up the mat before putting down my cutting board, and on the days I think ‘oh this will just be quick, don't need it’, I end up getting annoyed at how messy the counter gets.”

A kitchen prep staple
“Having a space to slide scraps immediately and giving the cutting board a place to rest without marking the counter makes food prep a breeze. And it cleans up so easily!”

Roo Love
